AMG Menu on a Non-AMG Mercedes

What the AMG menu shows on a non-AMG Mercedes, which clusters support it, what it doesn't change, and what a remote coding session needs. Checked per VIN, from €150.

Many non-AMG Mercedes clusters already contain the AMG performance menu, switched off in the factory coding. Coding switches it on. It's a display: it shows data the car already measures and adds no power or parts.

What you get

  • The AMG performance app, with engine data, G-meter, and oil and turbo gauges
  • The 0–60 timer on the digital cluster
  • The AMG cluster themes, such as Classic, Sport, Supersport, and Discreet

Our clips are filmed on a 2022 C 220 d (W206) with AMG Line trim and a diesel engine. What appears on your car depends on its cluster and software.

What it doesn't change

The AMG menu doesn't change the engine, exhaust, brakes, or suspension. Drive modes such as Sport+ are separate items, and the AMG Drive Unit (U88, with Race Start and Drift) is only for 43, 53, and 63 AMG models. An AMG steering wheel or a different cluster is a parts retrofit, not menu coding. The coding page lists those jobs.

Which cars

We've coded the menu on clusters in cars such as:

  • C-Class W205 and W206
  • E-Class W213
  • S-Class W222 and W223
  • A-Class W177 and B-Class W247
  • GLC W253 and X254
  • G-Class W463

Newer cars, including W206, W223, X254, EQE, and EQS, also need SECoC commissioning. Seeing the menu on another car doesn't prove yours supports it. We check your cluster from the VIN before you pay.

What a session needs

The session runs remotely on your laptop:

  • A Windows laptop
  • The right cable for your car. The VCI guide picks it from your VIN.

Remote AMG menu coding starts at €150. The quote is per VIN, and you pay after you've seen the menu working.

Next steps

  1. Watch the AMG menu clips to see what it looks like.
  2. Email your VIN to contact@mbretrofit.it.
  3. We confirm your cluster supports it and send the quote.
