You paid for the hardware. Mercedes locked the software. AMG menus, Sport+ mode, CarPlay & Android Auto, MBUX extras - they're already in your car. We help you switch them on.
Here for a map code? €50, instant, VIN-validated - skip to pricingThe uncomfortable truth
Your car left the factory with the hardware installed. Mercedes turned half of it off - and charges a subscription or a dealer visit to switch it back on.
G-meter, engine/oil data. The car has the sensors. The dashboard has the screen. The software just hides it.
Your head unit speaks both. The modules are in there. Mercedes just left them off in coding - one remote session, no cable ever again.
You paid for Multibeam headlights. Matrix beam, cornering animations, welcome sweep - all disabled in software.
The actuators are fitted. The wiring runs to every door. Enable the feature and they close on their own.

Your feature isn't here? Ask anyway.
We code every Mercedes from NTG4.5 (2011) through the latest Gen20x. If the hardware is in your car, we almost certainly turn it on.
Every category we touch
Nine buckets covering almost every factory-wired feature. If your feature isn't above but you've seen it on another Mercedes - ask.
G-meter, engine/oil/turbo gauges - enabled on non-AMG cars where the screen supports it.
Enable headlight hardware already fitted but disabled in coding.
Unlock Sport+, Race, and extra DYNAMIC SELECT modes Mercedes hid in coding.
AR navigation, smartphone integration extras, MBUX High where hardware exists.
Seat/steering memory, auto-close, soft-close doors - when hardware is present.
Distronic extensions, lane-change assist, blind-spot activation.
Model designation on instrument cluster and multimedia displays.
Imported cars to EU spec: KPH cluster, asymmetric headlight beam, ambient zones, MBUX languages, EU navigation map. Contact us with your VIN.

Region conversion
US, Japan, China, or Gulf Mercedes landing in Europe - we convert them end to end. Cluster units, headlight beam pattern, daytime running lights, side markers, ambient zones, MBUX language packs, navigation map region, rear fog, radio bands, eCall. Mostly coding plus a map licence; occasionally hardware. Quote is VIN-specific because the SA codes decide what's reachable.
MPH → KPH primary, °F → °C, miles → kilometres, US gallons → litres on Trip, Distronic, and ECO displays. Coded on most Gen20x clusters; firmware-matched on older NTG cars.
Asymmetric EU beam pattern on Multibeam / Digital Light, DRL behaviour, side marker lamps off, rear fog enabled, turn signal colour and flash rate corrected. Hardware swap only on halogen / early xenon cars.
Swap NAR / JP / CN / GCC map sets to the correct EU map, with a fresh VIN-bound map licence. Works across NTG4 through MBUX Gen 2 / Zero-Layer.
Read moreEuropean language packs, keyboard layouts, voice control locales, clock/date format, and tyre sizing defaults. Unlock the locales your import shipped without.
DAB+ on, HD Radio off, SiriusXM handled per chassis, eCall where hardware is present. CN-spec telematics deactivated cleanly.
US → EU is the common one, but we also run EU → US / Canada, JP → EU, CN → EU, and GCC → EU. Every coding switch is reversible.
Map updates for imports
A US Mercedes ships with the NAR (North America) navigation map. On EU roads that map is worthless - no postcodes, no EU address database, and speed limit warnings keep flagging miles where kilometres should be. Region conversion pairs the coding swap with a VIN-bound map licence for the correct EU map set. Works on NTG4, NTG4.5, NTG4.7, NTG5, NTG5.5, NTG6, NTG7 / MBUX Gen 2.
Some specifics (eCall SIM provisioning, DAB+ antenna retrofits on pre-2018 cars, CN-spec head-unit swaps) are case by case. That's the per-VIN part of the quote. Contact us for details.
How remote sessions work
Send your VIN
Email us with the VIN + the feature list. We reply within a few hours on weekdays.
Feasibility
We validate your car's SA codes + factory wiring, return a fixed quote.
Prep
Short checklist - laptop, OBD cable, any optional parts. Usually takes 5 minutes.
Remote session
We remote into your laptop. 30–90 minutes. You watch every change.
Verify + pay
Test it in the car. It works? You pay. Doesn't work? Zero charge.
Common questions
Yes - we only enable features your car was built with. Ambient zones, AMG menus, LED hardware: it's all physically present in your vehicle. We flip the software switch. Nothing is hacked, added, or modified illegally. Read the vehicle coding guide for the full explanation.
Most coding jobs, yes. You'll need a Windows laptop, an OBD cable (~€30), and 60 minutes. Our step-by-step coding guide walks you through every click, and the VCI / interfacing guide tells you exactly which cable your chassis needs. If your feature needs deeper variant-coding, we'll tell you up front - and offer to do it remotely.
Nothing to break. Our guides use variant-coding - not flashing. Worst case: we remote-assist for free through a remote diagnosis session.
Depends on the feature. AMG menu unlocks start at €150. Ambient tier upgrades from €100. Full LED / Digital Light from €200. Fixed quote upfront - you only pay after we verify it works. Workshops can also book a remote Xentry diagnosis from €50.
Yes - region conversion is one of our most common jobs. US → EU typically covers KPH cluster units, asymmetric headlight beam, daytime running lights, side marker behaviour, rear fog, EU ambient zones, MBUX languages, and a navigation map region swap (NAR → EU). Some jobs need hardware (headlamps, DAB antenna); most are software only. Read the region conversion guide for the full list, then send your VIN - we quote per VIN because the SA codes decide what's reachable without parts.
We code every Mercedes from NTG4.5 (2011) through the latest Gen20x. Older generations handled case-by-case. The coverage details live in the vehicle coding guide. Send your VIN and we'll confirm before you pay anything.
