# Terms of Service

The terms cover use of MBRetrofit Tools, account and API responsibilities, fair-use restrictions, marketing communications, payments, compatibility checks, map-code inputs, and vehicle-coding services.

Important purchase instructions include preparing the update media first and purchasing only after the car shows the license-key prompt. Outputs depend on the exact VIN, navigation platform, region, and map version supplied by the customer.

The terms state that purchases are final except where law requires otherwise. They include specific policies for region incompatibility, missing MBUX navigation licences, discretionary account-credit remedies, coding quotes, external dependencies, backups, restoration, limitations of liability, termination, governing law, and future changes.
