# MBRetrofit Tools

The home page introduces two main self-service products: Mercedes navigation map activation codes and dealer-level vehicle information from a VIN.

## Map-update flow

1. Enter the 17-character VIN.
2. Confirm the vehicle, navigation generation, map region, and version.
3. Prepare the update media with Mercedes Download Manager and insert it in the car.
4. Purchase only after the vehicle shows the map-license-key prompt.

The exact map-code price and fulfilment path depend on the selected navigation system and region. The purchase flow shows the current amount before checkout.

## Car lookup

The car-lookup product provides build data, factory options, and other available vehicle details for a VIN. The current public one-time price is shown on the page.
